About Me

Welcome, I’m Kat!

Like many, I wear many hats in life, and I understand firsthand how overwhelming and stressful life can feel at times. Some days that means I’ve confidently entered a negotiation with a toddler… and lost, and other days I’m celebrating the small but mighty victory of making it to the first bell at school drop-off. Life is full, messy, and very real—and that’s exactly what keeps me grounded in the work I do. My career began supporting families navigating some of the most vulnerable and challenging stages of their lives, with a focus on reunification, child trauma, and youth intervention programs in Union County. It was some of the hardest and most meaningful work I’ve done, and it shaped my deep commitment to helping individuals and families repair, reconnect, and grow. Over time, I found my way into the world of child therapy, diving into advanced training in various play therapy approaches, which ultimately led me to my passion for working closely with parents. Today, I also love supporting individuals as they build a stronger sense of self while navigating life transitions, college, relationships, or simply getting to know themselves on a deeper level.
